Trump claims China will reduce tariffs

China and the US have agreed on a truce in the unfolding trade war between the two, according to tweets from President Trump. President Trump claims, according to the BBC, that Chinese President Xi Jinping has agreed to “reduce and remove” the current 40% tariff on imported American cars.

The Chinese have not yet confirmed this, but the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index rose by app. 1% nonetheless.
